Key Program Metrics and Community Investment
The quantitative and qualitative data below demonstrate the significant confidence and investment our families place in the Chilton House program.
100% Enrollment Growth in 6 Years
Chilton House has nearly doubled its student population in six years, growing from 66 students in 2019 to 128 students in 2025. This growth is a strong indicator of the program’s quality and desirability within the community.
40% of Chilton House Families have Siblings Enrolled
A notable indicator of family investment is the number of families with siblings enrolled at EMS. This year, 50 out of 126 students in Chilton House — representing nearly 40% of the program — have siblings enrolled across the divisions. This high concentration of sibling enrollment underscores the deep trust and commitment multi-child families have in the school’s educational continuity.
Progress on Ongoing Strategic Initiatives
We continue to build upon foundational work from prior years to ensure excellence across all developmental areas.
Enhanced Literacy Program
We have continued to rigorously implement our enhanced literacy program in kindergarten. This three-pronged approach provides comprehensive language development through:
Wit & Wisdom: Our core language arts program
Fundations: Dedicated instruction focused on phonological awareness and phonics
Geodes: Non-fiction decodable readers that build fluency and comprehension while simultaneously teaching world history and science content
Student Support Integration
We maintain our close partnership with the Student Success Team. This ongoing work ensures faculty, students, and families receive tailored resources and support necessary to promote meaningful, powerful, and successful learning experiences for every child.
