The goal of Auxiliary Programs is to provide families with quality enrichment programs while extending the school hours to accommodate families’ schedules. These programs — Before and After Care, the After School Adventures Program, Jr. Eagles Saturday Sports Program, instrumental music lessons, Spring Break mini-camp, Eagle Arts Academy, and Summer Explorations — also help children to grow and develop knowledge, skills, and interests.

Steady Growth

We’ve seen an increase in participants and have offered increased choices in our after-school programming.

Our Junior Eagles Saturday Sports program helps younger students sample different types of sports programs in a cooperative and non-competitive environment to grow and develop skills and interests. This fall, we hosted soccer clinics, and we are looking forward to basketball in the winter, and soccer and tennis in the spring.

Summer Programs

Alums returned to campus! A total of 12 former students helped out in our summer program as “Leaders in Training,” counselors, and even one as a teacher.

EAGLE ARTS ACADEMY

This past summer, Eagle Arts Academy had a successful week of music, learning, and fun for more than 150 EMS students, ages 3 to grade 8.

SUMMER EXPLORATIONS

Summer Explorations welcomed 375 students to campus this summer from five countries, four different states, and more than 35 towns. Workshops for grades 2-6 included animation, robotics, coding, entrepreneur class, nature exploration, STEM, art, and sports. For younger students, specialized theme weeks and weekly camp sing-a-longs were highlights. A few favorite camp activities this summer included a carnival, talent show, and Olympic Day!

Our “Leaders in Training” program for students in grades 7-9 focuses on leadership training while assisting with younger students in our camp programs. All participants are trained in CPR and first aid.
