Current Status
Our testing to screen for SARS-CoV-2 in unvaccinated, asymptomatic community members ended on March 7, 2022. We will continue to require testing for students, faculty, and staff who have symptoms, and faculty and staff who are not fully up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccination, per our policies.
Parent-reported COVID+ cases are now listed in the myEMS COVID-19 Information Center. Cases are reported by grade and updated daily. If we learn of three or more related cases in any grade, the Health & Safety Team will review the circumstances and implement targeted protocols as appropriate and required.
NOTE: We will need to adapt to changing conditions and may reinstate past policies and procedures if community levels necessitate stricter precautions. We will continue to monitor COVID numbers for our area, regional and national trends, and community health information.
