EMS Students Excel in National Mathematics Competitions

Our students have demonstrated exceptional mathematical talent, achieving top recognition in both the Continental Math League and the American Mathematics Competition (AMC 8) this year.

Below is a complete list of award winners:

AMC 8

The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple-choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills. The AMC 8 provides an opportunity for middle school students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers.

COntinental math league

The Continental Math League is a national problem-solving competition that requires each student to complete timed, written tests. At the end of the competition, students show improvement in mathematical and reading skills after participating.
