During this program, which began last year, EMS grandparents and special friends read short picture books to our younger students. “We know the children love it,” says Development and Stewardship Manager Trish Felix, who organizes the book reading program. This year, our community members enjoyed books such as One by Kathryn Otoshi, read by EMS grandparent Fran Pildes, and Bark, George by Jules Feiffer, read by Alexandra Kass, the aunt of an EMS student.
