We are now adding another level to EMS remote learning with the addition of After-School Online Adventures classes for students in kindergarten through fourth grade.
“We heard from our community that families were interested in adding additional opportunities for organized online activities as another way to stay connected to one another,” says Liza Hards, Director of Auxiliary Programs. “Our goal is to add some additional resources for fun, enrichment, and engagement for our students combined with the opportunity to interact with other EMS students and be together virtually.”
Each week, a schedule of classes will be sent via email, and parents and caregivers can RSVP to the class that their child might be interested in attending. There will be one or two After-School Online Adventures classes each day, and each class will have a maximum of 12 students and last 30-45 minutes.
Weekly classes will include games, crafts, Lego building, storytelling, yoga, science, nature, and more, which will take place in a Google Meet platform.
