Virtual Gardening Workshop: From Seeds to Sprouts

For children age 3 through first grade.
Join the EMS gardening teachers to learn about plant anatomy and the growth cycle from seeds to sprouts.
To better engage in this workshop, the following materials are needed:
- 1 cup of potting soil OR a small bag of cotton balls
- 1–2 eggs shells cracked in the middle or closer to the top OR a small, clear glass or plastic container with lid
- 1-2 teaspoons of small seeds, for example: lettuce, carrot, radish, flax, mung, grass, or clover
