Pricing & Policies

What does Summer Explorations cost? 

Full-day: $730/week
Half-day: $495/week
Please note: Some classes have materials or specialty fees. This will be noted in the class description during registration.

Early care: $15/day | Aftercare: $25/hour


All registrations will incur a $100 non-refundable deposit due at the time of registration. Full tuition is due on May 1, 2026.

What is your refund policy?

We understand the need to be flexible with refunds and charges for our summer program due to health-related reasons. After May 1, no refunds will be offered for changes in plans, schedules, vacations, etc. However, if your child is unable to attend the program due to health-related issues, we will try to accommodate them in a different session. If accommodation is not possible, we require documentation from a medical provider to issue a full refund. Refunds will not be given for absences without proper documentation from a medical provider or physician.

Is transportation available?

Summer Explorations works with Rainbow Transportation to help families with busing to and from The Elisabeth Morrow School. Families must contract privately with Rainbow Transportation to determine appropriate routes and fees.

How about snacks and lunch?

Summer Explorations provides daily peanut- and tree-nut-free snacks, including fresh fruit, cut-up vegetables, and other healthy kid-friendly snack options. For other dietary restrictions, children are welcome to bring peanut- and tree-nut-free snacks from home.

Children who stay the full day are asked to bring their own lunch or order online through our food delivery service. All lunches from home should be peanut- and tree-nut-free. Children are also asked to bring a reusable water bottle, clearly labeled with their name, which can be refilled as needed.

The food delivery lunch menu will be available online, giving you a preview of the delicious, nutritious options we offer. Orders must be placed by 2 p.m. at least 2 days before the delivery date. For example, an order for Monday, June 29, 2026, must be placed by 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Orders may be canceled up to 7 a.m. on the delivery date. If you need general support with your lunch order after this deadline, please email ems@blueakai.com or call/text 551-255-3955 with your request.

Credit card payments are processed at the time of your order. Refunds are issued as account credits.

Please note that there will be no Kosher menu items available for our summer programs.

All participants will receive a letter (2025 version for reference; 2026 information coming in June) with additional details about the summer lunch program.

What health forms need to be completed?

All students must complete our 2026 Summer Explorations Health Form and the Permission for Prescription Medications Form (if applicable).
