Each week, our students in grades 2–6 choose two workshops they’ll attend all week. In the afternoon, they can choose their activities day by day. Below are the options available for our 2025 season.

Morning Workshop Descriptions
Week 1 – June 23-27
Cool Summertime Treats
Students will stay cool while they create delicious and nutritious treats in the kitchen! They will learn to make different “no-cook” recipes, like smoothies, dips, fruit pops, homemade ice cream, and more, and explore simple recipes that don’t require the use of an oven or stove, but are delicious and good for you!
Fun with Mr. Fox
Students will read the book The Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl. They will identify the use of anthropomorphism by the author, analyze how factual information about animals is used to give them human characteristics, and then research, generate, and develop their own ideas for bringing an animal to life. Students will have the opportunity to design an animal mask using a variety of creative materials.
Fun-dations Reading
Under the direction of a specially trained teacher, students will work in a small group setting. Students will review and practice the phonology of language and rules governing reading and writing through a variety of multi-sensory experiences. Enrollment is limited to rising second graders to allow for a low student-to-teacher ratio. The program is designed for five weeks of consecutive programming to ensure thorough coverage of material. An extra fee is required for this workshop. Students must have current teacher recommendations/reading assessments to ensure proper placement. Students must enroll in at least three weeks to participate.
Lego Build: Amazing Animals
It’s a zoo in here! This is a unit sure to delight kids who love creatures. We’ll be building models of snakes, insects, mammals, and more. Each week, we’ll discuss fascinating facts about the animals we build, from the chameleon that changes colors to the seal model that waddles across the table. Students will love these moving models that celebrate the wonders of the animal kingdom.
Lego Build: Amusement Park
Students will learn the history and mechanics of their favorite amusement park rides in this imaginative unit. They will construct a carousel awing, Tilt-a-Whirl, loop de loop ride, swing boat ride, and merry-go-round. Lessons incorporate principles of physics, described in a way children can understand, such as “G-force” inertia and momentum, as well as math concepts such as “there are 360 degrees in a circle.” These engaging lessons will give students an understanding of the physical forces they experience every day.
Mosaic Mania
Students will explore the art of mosaics by cutting colorful paper into small pieces and arranging them into patterns or images. They’ll learn about the history of mosaics and how artists use small pieces to form larger pictures. Students can create anything from abstract patterns to animals, flowers, or landscapes. This workshop helps develop fine motor skills and patience, as students carefully glue the small paper pieces to create their mosaic masterpieces. By the end of the workshop, each student will have a stunning paper mosaic to proudly display!
Out of the Box Math
In the class, students will approach solving math problems in a creative and unique way, thinking beyond the typical methods, using visualization, real-life situations, or different strategies. Activities will encourage students to explore and discover solutions that might not be immediately obvious. Games and activities will include math logic puzzles, Sudoku, IQ puzzles, and brain teaser problems to help them use their imaginations to find the answer!
Pop Art Party
Students will dive into the colorful world of pop art! They’ll learn about famous artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, then create their own bold, graphic artworks inspired by everyday objects, superheroes, or cartoons. Using markers, paints, and collage materials, students will explore bold lines, vibrant colors, and comic-style techniques. By the end of the workshop, each student will have a fun, pop art-inspired piece to show off, full of bright colors and energetic designs!
Simple Machines
In this workshop, students will explore the fascinating world of simple machines and how they make tasks easier in our daily lives. They will learn about different types of simple machines, including levers, pulleys, wheels and axles, inclined planes, and wedges. Through hands-on activities, students will discover how these machines work and experiment with building their own creations. This workshop encourages problem-solving and helps students understand the important role that simple machines play in the world around us.
Sports Skills
Students will engage in sports-related games and activities that will help them develop skills that make athletes successful. Students will focus on teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership while participating in drills and games that highlight motor skills and movements that improve athleticism and ability.
Storybook Mysteries
Students will solve exciting puzzles and unravel secrets in this fun and interactive workshop! They will explore mystery-themed stories and create their own tales filled with clues, twists, and surprises. Through games and hands-on activities, they’ll develop storytelling, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills. Perfect for young detectives and imaginative storytellers!
The Scientific Method
In this class, students will develop a strong understanding of the scientific method through a series of hands-on investigations. Students will learn the key steps in the scientific method: observation, forming a hypothesis, testing, and drawing conclusions. Students will engage in exciting experiments, such as “Sink or Float” and explore how variables affect outcomes. This workshop will encourage curiosity and critical thinking, culminating in a Science Showcase where students can present their discoveries and findings.
Build A Bridge
Students will incorporate STEM skills to learn about different types of bridges so they can plan out and design their own. At the end of the week, students will test the strength of their bridge to see how much weight it can hold before it collapses. Will their bridge hold up to the challenge?
Candy Creations
Students will unleash their inner sweet tooth in this fun and delicious class. Students will learn how to make their own candy treats, from lollipops and fudge to unique edible art using simple ingredients and creative techniques. Along the way, they’ll explore the science behind candy-making while designing and decorating their tasty masterpieces.
Comic Book Creations
Students will learn the basics of comic book storytelling, including character design, panel layout, and dialogue. Through fun, hands-on activities, they will develop their creativity and visual storytelling skills, bringing their own unique stories to life. Whether your child love superheroes, silly adventures, or creating their own worlds, this class is perfect for budding comic book creators ready to share their imagination!
Creative Canvas
There are various new ways to use the classic painting canvas. Students will explore more abstract ways of using a stretched canvas, such as paint pouring, paint splatter, tape collages, and more. For this workshop, it is recommended that each student bring in a large T-shirt to protect their clothing from the acrylic paint being used.
Game Design
Has your child ever dreamed of creating a video game? In this course, they’ll dive into game development. Students will learn the fundamentals of game design, starting with HTML programming. During the course, they will use AI technology for storytelling and image creation, infusing unlimited options into game creation. They’ll also work on enhancing writing skills by coding trivia challenges and immersive choose-your-own-adventure games. Students will have the opportunity to collaborate on a group game. Together, they’ll practice the techniques learned throughout the course to craft a game that can be shared with friends and family. Students don’t need any previous experience or special software; they’ll only need creativity and a laptop! This is a double workshop class. Students must enroll in this workshop for both Workshop 1 and Workshop 2 to participate.
Mask Making
Many cultures use mask making to honor their history and traditions. Students will learn how to create a mask from scratch using a mold. They will have the freedom to design the mask however they wish, such as creating an animal form, a favorite character, a masquerade mask, and much more!
Outdoor Adventure
Does your child love nature? This is the class for them! Students will go hiking on our beautiful campus, practice building shelters, and explore Northern New Jersey’s vegetation and wildlife. They will also learn some first aid basics that can help in any situation. During the week, students will visit a local nature trail and also learn the basics of map and compass reading and simple knot tying.
Mythical Creatures and Magical Realms
Students will learn how to design unique and imaginative creatures and bring magical worlds to life through drawing, writing, and brainstorming activities. They’ll explore the origins of mythical creatures from different cultures, using them as inspiration to create their own fantastical beings. Along the way, participants will develop strong storytelling skills by crafting narratives that transport readers to vivid and unforgettable realms.
Science Matters
Students will learn about the fascinating world of solids, liquids, and gases in this interactive workshop. Through exciting experiments and hands-on activities, they will explore how matter changes state, discover the science behind these transformations, and even create some surprising reactions. This workshop is perfect for curious learners ready to investigate the wonders of chemistry and physics in a fun and engaging way!
Sports Skills
Students will work on analyzing the patterns within categories of games and activities, movement concepts, fitness components, and skill application. The learning experiences will be focused on safe participation and responsible decision-making.
STEM Challenge
Each day, students will tackle a new challenge that sparks creativity and critical thinking — spaghetti and marshmallow towers, potato chip rings, sink or float penny boats, coding games, and more. With teamwork and experimentation, students will develop their STEM skills while discovering the excitement of engineering, science, and technology. Perfect for curious minds who love to innovate and learn by doing!
Week 2 – June 30-July 4 (no camp on July 4)
Backyard Games
Whether it’s a spirited game of frisbee, a strategic round of cornhole, or a fun game of kickball, students will have the chance to experience the thrill of these activities firsthand. Backyard games aren’t just about play; they’re an invitation to connect, have fun, and create lasting memories in the great outdoors. Students will join us outside on the field for a wide array of fun! They will have the opportunity to learn and play a variety of games that capture the joy of the summertime.
Collage Craze
Your young artist will create a vibrant self-portrait using a variety of materials like magazines, fabric scraps, and colored paper. Students will explore how to express their unique personalities through textures, shapes, and layers while practicing cutting, gluing, and arranging materials. Throughout the week, they’ll learn how to combine different media to tell their own stories visually. By the end of the workshop, each child will have a colorful collage that reflects their individuality and creativity.
Creative Drama
Let your child’s imagination take center stage in this fun and engaging workshop! This workshop will spark creativity through interactive games, storytelling, and improvisation. Students will explore character-building, teamwork, and self-expression in a supportive environment, all while building confidence and having a blast. No scripts, no pressure —just creativity and lots of laughter! Perfect for budding performers or anyone who loves to pretend and play.
Fizz, Foam and Pop
Get ready for a bubbly, foamy, and explosive good time in this hands-on science workshop! Students will create exciting experiments that fizz, foam, and pop as they explore the wonders of chemistry and physics. From creating volcanic eruptions to making fizzy reactions and bubbly concoctions, this workshop is packed with fun, laughter, and learning. Fizzing, foaming, and popping reactions will be sure to keep kids excited and provide plenty of opportunities for learning through questions, experimentation, and play!

Magical Masks
Students will create their own unique masks inspired by mythical creatures, animals, or characters from their imaginations. They’ll learn to use materials like cardboard, feathers, beads, and paint to craft elaborate masks that reflect their creativity. Students will experiment with color, texture, and shape to design masks that are truly magical. By the end of the workshop, each student will have a personalized mask, ready for a fun performance or display!
Money Matters
In this financial literacy class, students learn to understand how to use money wisely, like knowing how to save some of your money for things you want, figuring out which things are important to buy, and learning how to make your money grow over time, it is just like planting a seed and watching it become a big plant!
‘Round the World
If your child is a big fan of traveling, this may just be the workshop for them! First, they will learn a little something about the seven continents of the world — What is a continent, anyway? Then, they will focus on three countries and take a picture tour of each. Students will make food from the countries, play games from there, and even learn a little bit of the country’s language!
Solar System Stars
Students will embark on an exciting journey through the solar system, discovering key facts about planets and their unique characteristics. They will explore each planet, learn about the moon and its phases, and delve into the history of space exploration. Through engaging activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of our place in the universe. This workshop will conclude with a fun “Solar System Quiz” to test their knowledge and peak further curiosity about space.
Stop Motion Animation: Monsters, Magic and CLAY!
Young filmmakers in this hands-on stop-motion animation + art-making class explore claymation. Each day, they will try their hands at another stop-motion technique that uses clay in a whole new way creating a wonderful series of short films. On the first day, they will design, build, and animate monsters. Next, they will animate magic tricks. Finally, we will feature the filmmakers in their own films using a technique called “pixelation” (the animation of living subjects). Campers will work in small production groups to learn how to operate professional-grade software “DragonFrame,” using DSLR cameras and Mac laptops. They will also get to record their own sound effects and voiceovers. The finished claymation films will be edited together with sound and music and shared via an online link. Visitors to our Vimeo page who have password access can download, share, and view the film again and again.
Super Scientists
If you love science, this is the workshop for you! In Super Scientists, students will explore, investigate, and experiment each day. From making bubbling chemical reactions to testing physics principles and even exploring biology and engineering concepts, every session is packed with hands-on activities and experiments. Students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while uncovering the wonders of the scientific world in a fun, interactive environment.

Coding: Build Your Own App
Has your child ever wanted to make their own websites and apps? In this hands-on coding and tech club, they’ll learn the skills of a coder and the mindset of an entrepreneur through building apps — one of their own and also an app for local nonprofits. Students will build apps and games weekly in the course and work on real web apps. Previous students have been covered in multiple local news outlets for apps they’ve built for homeless shelters, veterinarians, and local climate nonprofits.
DIY Art Studio
Students will learn how to make their very own “ Do It Yourself” crafts and learn different techniques they could use to make their own DIY projects in the future. They will work with a variety of materials and make their own keychains, stained glass mason jars, slime, tie-dye T-shirts, etc. For this workshop, students will need to bring in an item of clothing that is white cotton to be tie-dyed.
Fairy House Tales
Students will step into a world of enchantment in this whimsical workshop! They will build their very own fairy houses using natural and craft materials while exploring the magical realm of fairy tales. Students will have the chance to combine hands-on creativity with storytelling, as we bring classic and original fairy tales to life. Perfect for young dreamers, this workshop inspires imagination, teamwork, and a love for nature and stories.
Global Snack Safari
Students will embark on a culinary adventure around the world! They will learn to prepare delicious and easy-to-make snacks from various cultures, such as sushi rolls, hummus and pita chips, and fruit skewers. This workshop will not only satisfy their taste buds but also broaden their cultural horizons.
Improv Comedy
Students will learn the basics of improvisation through fun games and activities that build quick thinking, creativity, and confidence. From creating hilarious scenes to mastering the “yes, and” rule, this workshop is perfect for budding performers or anyone who loves to make people laugh.
Peace Crane Project
Students will read the book “Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes” by Eleanor Coerr. Based on a true story, the book celebrates the extraordinary courage that made one young woman a heroine in Japan. Inspired by the book, students will learn and recite a Peace Pledge and fold their own origami symbols of peace, including peace cranes, flapping wing cranes, doves, and hearts. By the end of the week, students will have completed a book for their summer reading log, kept their reading skills sharp, and learned more about the skill and symbolism of folding origami paper cranes.
Photography
Does your child enjoy taking photographs? In this workshop, students will learn the basics of photography, in all of its forms. They will learn about composition, lighting, and other core strategies that allow professionals to take incredible photos. They will take pictures of campus, go on nature tours and create their own unique photo album.
Weird Nature Science
Does your child want to become a scientist? Or increase their understanding of the natural world? Well, you’re in luck! In this class, students will be learning about physics and the natural world through fun, easy science experiments. They will learn about states of matter, the animal and plant kingdoms, and how things we interact with in our everyday lives really work. This is the perfect club if your child loves science or engineering or just wants to get a little messy. This is a double workshop class. Students must enroll in this workshop for both Workshop 1 and Workshop 2 to participate.
Yarn Explosion
Yarn explosions cover public objects or structures, such as fences, lampposts, bike racks, trees and statues, with colorful knitted or crocheted yarn. Yarn explosions can raise awareness for a cause or simply make others smile. Students will also learn beginner crocheting, including finger knitting and create simple yarm creations.
Week 3 – July 7-11
Clay Critters
Students will dive into the world of 3D art by sculpting their own animal creations using soft clay. They will learn basic sculpting techniques to form and shape their wildest creatures, from real animals to imaginative, mythical beasts. By the end of the week, students will have unique clay critters that showcase their creativity and craftsmanship!
Family Album
It all starts with family pictures that your child brings from home. Then, they will have the opportunity to design memory pages using photos, original drawings, poems, tickets, and some fun family facts. Over the course of the week, students will build a beautiful, original album that can be a lasting treasure!

Game Play!
Students can join this fast-moving and energetic workshop and learn how to play all kinds of fun, interactive, and cooperative games. They will have fun while moving their body and working their mind!
Inspired by Nature
Students will step into the great outdoors and let nature spark their creativity! In this workshop, students will explore the beauty of the natural world through art, poetry, and writing. From sketching leaves and flowers to writing nature-inspired poems and stories, kids will use the sights and sounds around them to create beautiful works of art and imaginative writing.
Inventor’s Workshop
Students will step into the “Inventors’ Workshop,” where they will engage in thrilling STEM challenges designed to ignite their creativity and problem-solving skills. Throughout the week, participants will embark on exciting missions, including constructing a paper tower, designing a boat to carry as many pennies as possible, and building a catapult for in-class target practice. These hands-on challenges are crafted to inspire students to design, build, and test their creations, fostering a dynamic learning environment. Additionally, there might even be a surprise marshmallow and pasta challenge to keep the excitement building at the pace of the week!
Lego Build: Air, Land and Sea
Students will take to the sky in our helicopter model or air show model, race across the beach in an ingenious land sail, and zoom through the water on a jet ski. They will learn what makes each machine unique and how it moves, exploring concepts such as buoyancy, propulsion, lift, and g-forces. What other ways will we invent to travel by air, land, and sea? Whether your child is a high-speed thrill-seeker or just curious about how things work, this unit offers something for everyone.
Lego Build: World of Science
Calling all future scientists! Budding astronomers, meteorologists, zoologists, and inventors will learn about space, weather, animals, and more! We’ll build all sorts of awesome scientific models and gadgets that are sure to spark both imagination and intellect. If your child can’t get enough of hands-on science fun, then they won’t want to miss out on our World of Science unit!
Make Your Own Plushie
Let your child’s creativity shine in this hands-on class. Students will design their very own unique plush creations from start to finish. They’ll learn to cut fabrics, sew pieces together using straight or blanket stitches, and add stuffing to bring their designs to life. To make each plushie truly one-of-a-kind, students will decorate their creations with buttons, sequins, googly eyes, and colorful fabric accents. This workshop is perfect for young crafters who love to create, sew, and express their imagination!
Math Fun and Games
Students will explore fascinating math concepts through hands-on activities, games, and creative problem-solving. Using manipulatives and real-world examples, they’ll dive into topics like real numbers, fractions, area and perimeter, and shapes. This class encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of math while showing students how math connects to everyday life.
Plant It! Water it! Watch it Grow!
In this workshop, students will dive into the fascinating world of plant growth and the water cycle. They will learn about how plants grow, the essential role of water, and the stages of the water cycle. Through hands-on observations, students will track plant growth and explore the processes of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. This workshop will also highlight the importance of caring for plants, helping students understand the interconnectedness of nature and the environment.
Stamp-tastic
Students will discover the fun of printmaking by creating original stamps and making colorful, repeating patterns. Using foam sheets and ink, they will design and stamp their own artwork, experimenting with textures, shapes, and layers to create vibrant prints. By the end of the workshop, each student will have a unique, stamped masterpiece full of fun patterns and creativity!
Candle-making
Candle-making is a fantastic experience for teams to bond over. A session of candle-making is actually a sensory journey. This workshop includes the basics of making scented or decorative candles using different waxes and molds.
Chess
Students can join our introduction to chess class, where we offer captivating and age-appropriate chess lessons to engage students at all beginning skill levels. Our program covers the fundamentals, openings, and strategic thinking. We start with a free play session to gauge familiarity and comfort with chess, progressively introducing skills and encouraging their application in gameplay. We will spice things up with variant chess games to maintain enthusiasm and playfulness. We will also work closely with your child throughout the class to help them internalize chess concepts and rules. Whether they’re total beginners or looking to advance their skills, students will leave with newfound knowledge and a deep passion for chess! This is a double workshop class. Students must enroll in this workshop for both Workshop 1 and Workshop 2 to participate.” but that doesn’t say it in Workshop 1.
Econo- ME
Students will learn the basics of economics and personal finance, and develop a deeper understanding of money management. Topics range from basics such as “What is Money?” to more comprehensive topics that will help your child become financially independent and aware, such as lessons covering everything from budgeting to bill paying.
Environmental Scientists
Students can step into the shoes of an environmental scientist in this hands-on summer workshop. They will explore ecosystems, conduct experiments, and learn about topics like biodiversity, conservation, and climate change. Through fun activities and outdoor exploration, participants will discover how they can make a positive impact on the planet while developing critical thinking and teamwork skills.
Fun with Physics
Students do not have to wait until high school to get a good physics lesson. They can explore Newton’s laws and have a blast while trying to build and possibly destroy bridges, egg carriers, and roller coasters. Students will learn the power of gravity and nature as well as work on cooperative teamwork skills.
Sculpting Studio
Students will explore a variety of sculpting techniques to create unique 3D artworks. Stop Motion Animation: Video Games
Has your child ever wanted to design their own video game? In this stop-motion animation camp, they can! Over the course of the week, our students will make up their own unique video games and film examples of gameplay using the art of stop-motion animation filmmaking. Students in this hands-on stop motion animation + art-making camp work in small production groups to design and build their own unique gaming environments using a variety of art methods and materials. Next, they will bring them to life, learning to use professional-grade software: “DragonFrame,” DSLR Cameras, and Mac laptops. They will also record their own unique sound effects and any necessary voice overs and even have a chance to get in front of the camera themselves during a “Pixilation” exercise (the animation of living subjects). The finished video game animations will be edited together with sound and music and shared via an online link. Visitors to our Vimeo page who have password access can download, share, and view the film again and again. This is a double workshop class. Adventures in Game Design with Microsoft Make Code & Scratch
Students will explore different programming concepts as they create various games using a block-based programming language—a kid-friendly, visual programming environment developed by Microsoft and MIT. Our team will introduce basic game design concepts like loops and functions.
Drink Your Veggies
Students will discover how delicious and fun veggies can be in this hands-on cooking class! They will learn to create tasty smoothies, juices, and other drinkable treats using fresh fruits and vegetables. With simple recipes and easy techniques, students will explore healthy eating while experimenting with flavors and colors.
Eco-Art Explorers
In this creative DIY workshop, students will learn how to transform everyday recycled materials like cardboard, old magazines, plastic bottles, and fabric scraps into unique works of art! Students will experiment with collage, sculpture, and painting techniques to turn these materials into colorful, one-of-a-kind art pieces. Students will explore how to repurpose items to create fun sculptures, textured art, or even functional pieces like pencil holders or decorative magnets. This workshop fosters creativity while teaching the importance of sustainability and reusing materials. By the end of the workshop, each student will have a beautiful upcycled masterpiece to take home and proudly display.
Edible Science
Students will discover the different types of phase changes and chemical reactions that occur when we are mixing ingredients. Students will also have a chance to visit the EMS garden to pick some yummy herbs to use for cooking. Not only will you feed your appetite but also your mind with these wonderful treats of science.
Fairy Tale Houses
Students will step into a world of enchantment in this whimsical workshop! They will build their very own fairy houses using natural and craft materials while exploring the magical realm of fairy tales. Students will have the chance to combine hands-on creativity with storytelling, as we bring classic and original fairy tales to life. Perfect for young dreamers, this workshop inspires imagination, teamwork, and a love for nature and stories.
Fizz, Foam, and Pop
Students will have an explosive good time in this hands-on science workshop! They will dive into exciting experiments that fizz, foam, and pop as they explore the wonders of chemistry and physics. From creating volcanic eruptions to making fizzy reactions and bubbly concoctions, this workshop is packed with fun, laughter, and learning. Fizzing, foaming, and popping reactions will be sure to keep kids excited and provide plenty of opportunities for learning through questions, experimentation, and play.

Students will review and practice the phonology of language and rules governing reading and writing through a variety of multi-sensory experiences. Enrollment is limited to rising second graders to allow for a low student-to-teacher ratio. The program is designed for five weeks of consecutive programming to ensure thorough coverage of material. An extra fee is required for this workshop. Students must have current teacher recommendations/reading assessments to ensure proper placement. Students must enroll in at least three weeks to participate.
Otter Mania
Students will read the book “Odder” by Katherine Applegate, a touching and lyrical tale about a remarkable sea otter, inspired by the true story of a Monterey Bay Aquarium program that pairs orphaned otter pups with surrogate mothers. To enrich their reading experience, students will immerse themselves in the world of otters, learning more about how vital these creatures are to local ecosystems. They will learn about how otters use rocks as tools and decorate their own otter rock, use the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Otter Live Cam to observe sea otters at play, and more.
Out of the Box Math
In the class, students will approach solving math problems in a creative and unique way, thinking beyond the typical methods, using visualization, real-life situations, or different strategies. Activities will encourage students to explore and discover solutions that might not be immediately obvious. Games and activities will include math logic puzzles, Sudoku, IQ puzzles, and brain teaser problems to help them use their imaginations to find the answer.
Paper Architecture: Engineering with Cardboard
Students will choose a famous landmark or building from around the world to recreate and take home with them at the end of the week. They will also learn about the design process and how to use blueprint paper and lights to trace designs or create new ones from scratch.
Puppet Palooza
Students will design and create their own puppets using felt, fabric, buttons, and craft supplies. They’ll learn how to build simple puppets with moving parts and expressive faces, and then put them to use by creating short skits or stories. Students will experiment with character design and storytelling, bringing their puppets to life. By the end of the workshop, each student will have a puppet ready for their own mini-puppet show!
Team Games
Students will play together as a team while they practice their sports skills. They will learn and play different cooperative games and activities that will focus on teamwork and good sportsmanship.
Be An Entrepreneur
Has your child ever wanted to start their own business or website? In this class for budding entrepreneurs, that’s exactly what they’ll do! They will work with a classmate to come up with a simple company idea, taking it as far as it will go before the class ends. They will create a business plan, enlist friends and family, and set up everything needed to be a junior entrepreneur: a first email address, a basic app or website, and a presentation. Ultimately, they will share their idea with friends and family, work hard to get the first customer and present all their progress to the class. Students will have a ton of fun and accomplish more than they ever have before! This is a double workshop class. This course provides the students with the opportunity to develop their writing and journalism, including public speaking and face-to-face communication skills. By the end of the week, students will have worked collaboratively to create and publish their very own camp newspaper.
Cool Treats and Eats
Students will learn some basic cooking techniques as they create recipes that don’t need to be heated or cooked. Yogurt parfaits, fruit smoothies, ice cream cake and more!
Curtain Call
Students will step into the spotlight and bring their ideas to life in this engaging playwriting workshop. They will learn the fundamentals of writing for the stage, including creating compelling characters, crafting dialogue, and developing exciting plots. Through fun exercises and group activities, participants will collaborate, share ideas, and even bring their scripts to life with small performances.
Dungeon Master
Students will learn the key principles of game design, including worldbuilding, character creation, and developing rule systems. They’ll work together to create their own unique tabletop games, from designing immersive worlds and crafting exciting storylines to developing strategies and mechanics. Through collaborative gameplay, participants will also hone their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
In a Galaxy Far Far Away
This class will immerse students into the wonderful and expansive world of Star Wars. Students will work on their reading, writing, and imaginative skills all while having fun in the world of a galaxy far, far away. Your child will have such a great time they will not even realize all of the skills they have developed throughout the week.
Multicultural Art
Students will learn about different traditions and create their own art inspired by global cultures. They’ll craft Native American woven bowls, African tribal paper masks, Mexican Folk Tonala clay birds, and much more. This hands-on workshop will inspire creativity, broaden cultural awareness, and help students express themselves through unique, culturally rich art projects.
Sewing Club
Campers will be exploring the world of hand sewing while working with felt. They will be taught the whip stitch, the running stitch, and the blanket stitch. At the end of the week, students will have had an opportunity to create a hand sewn book, pocket purse, stuffed character, and various shaped pillows.

Students will challenge themselves to be the best! They will have fun playing different sports and games while working on their skills and confidence to bring themselves to the next level!

Animal Homes and Habitats
Students will discover the diverse world of animals and the unique habitats they call home. They will explore different environments, from the ocean to the forest, and learn about the adaptations animals have to survive in these habitats. Through engaging lessons and activities, students will see how animals are perfectly suited to their surroundings and how these habitats support life. Students will develop a deeper understanding of the natural world and the importance of preserving animal habitats.
Book Cooks
Students will use well-known story books as a jumping-off point to discuss nutrition, prepare recipes inspired by the books, and have their own Books Bake Sale. Students will develop deeper knowledge of nutrition and cooking while building key business skills in planning and executing the bake sale. What a delicious combination of learning and fun!
Code your Own Cartoon
Students will learn how to express themselves and let their creativity shine through code as they work together to craft silly, scary, and exciting cartoons in Scratch or MakeCode, kid-friendly, visual programming environments developed by MIT and Microsoft. Throughout this experience, students will level up their knowledge of basic coding concepts as well as their “storytelling” ability.

Students will learn about MANGA art and the steps it takes to form stylized characters. They will practice the skills needed to create Kawaii characters and Manga characters, building up a series of drawings in their drawing journals. POP Art Is In
Pop art is about using the world of popular culture in art. Students will learn about master POP artists like Andy Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Claes Oldenburg and Roy Lichenstein. They will study different art techniques while creating various works of art in the style of these great artists.

Using our Evolution 3 technology, students will first follow our most advanced Lego builds and then construct new builds using student-generated code to perform a task through the use of motors and sensors. Perfect for beginners and budding musicians, this workshop introduces students to the basics of playing the ukulele. Students will learn how to make their very own “ Do It Yourself” crafts and learn different techniques they could use to make their own DIY projects in the future. They will work with a variety of materials and make their own keychains, stained glass mason jars, slime, tie-dye T-shirts, etc. For this workshop, students will need to bring in an item of clothing that is white cotton to be tie-dyed.
