SCIENCE

Our science program uses activity oriented, hands-on teaching methods to cultivate an interest in science. We encourage an open and creative approach to problem solving. We foster a bonding with the natural world and a desire to protect and improve our environment. As students begin to accumulate a knowledge base of facts, concepts, and process skills, it is important to remember that the world of adult scientists is full of false starts, incomplete information, mistakes and trial and error discoveries. A primary objective of our science program is to encourage scientific attitudes including; intense curiosity, skepticism, objectivity, open mindedness, and determination.
